2011 VMAs

Alan Friedman Co. got a little piece of this year's Video Music Award cake. Our slice came in the form of the perfectly bronzed Jenni "JWOWW" Farley and her well-groomed boyfriend Roger, who were introduced to us by JWOWW's bubbly stylist Jeni Elizabeth. The three arrived Saturday afternoon to select some gorgeous gems to adorn both Jenni and Roger as they march the red carpet the following evening. Layna Friedman provided Pinot Gris and hospitality for the group, making the process all the more enjoyable!

Jenni opted for a pair of stunning diamond dangle earrings, a pave diamond bracelet, and of course some eye-popping finger candy. Roger rocked diamond studs, a flashy multicolor diamond shield pendant, stunning diamond skull cufflinks, and a diamond bezel TW Steel watch.

Our apologies for the near month-long blog hiatus, we have been SO busy here at the store! Alan, our fearless leader, takes on new projects like it's going out of style. Since the ESPYS just happened, we thought all you sports fans would be interested in Cam Newton rocking some AFC gear. As many of you know, we carry a couple of trendy watch brands in our store: Phosphor, 01TheOne, Ernst Benz, and TW Steel. Each one appeals to a different style, and the urban chic Heisman winner opted for a classic black TW Steel to accent his fashion-forward get-up.

His innovative (and super nice!) stylist Melissa Meister decked him out in a sleek grey suit, lavendar tie, and a tucked-in scarf.

As stated in the Phosphor Spring 2011 catalog, these bling-y watches "utilize miniature-sized rotors adorned with Swarovski crystals that revolve to reveal numerical or chronological information." In otherwords, each minute you will see (and hear! it makes a fun "click" sound) the crystals change shape to stylishly tell you the time.
