Phosphor Watches

Alan Friedman Co. is bringing you the latest and greatest in cutting edge timepiece technology. If you've never seen a Phosphor watch, you're in for a fashion-forward treat. The company's newest from its Spring 2011 collection is now on display in our Beverly Hills store!

As stated in the Phosphor Spring 2011 catalog, these bling-y watches "utilize miniature-sized rotors adorned with Swarovski crystals that revolve to reveal numerical or chronological information." In otherwords, each minute you will see (and hear! it makes a fun "click" sound) the crystals change shape to stylishly tell you the time. Also available in white, pink, and red, these are a must have!

On a less flashy note, the Curved E INK digital watch is classic with a modern twist. These watches are truly a technological step above the rest: "where standard LCD displays are muddy and low-contrast, e-ink microcapsule technology allows for crisp, fine resolution black and white graphics."

NEW: Diamond Slice Rings!

We just got in our brand new diamond slice rings...and we're obsessed.

These babies are entirely custom made by Alan Friedman...and it shows! The first, edgier ring is set with a 6.58ct white diamond slice and 64 round black diamonds. The second ring (5.78ct slice) is set in platinum with a rose gold shank and features both white and pink diamonds. As cool as these rings look in the pictures, they are absolutely STUNNING in person. Be a trendsetter and show off the newest way to get icy.

Mother's Day 2011

Mother's Day is right around the corner! Alan Friedman Company has lots of gorgeous gift options for those hard-working moms in our lives. Homage Collection

Today is the 25th anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. In recognition of the city of Chernobyl and it's residents, Alan Friedman has custom designed a gorgeous new jewelry line titled the "Homage Collection." The line is centered around the international radioactive symbol which makes the jewelry as unique as it is meaningful. Proceeds from the sales of the Homage Collection benefit the National Resource Defense Council. Below are a few samples from the Homage Collection:

14k rose gold multi-color diamond and sapphire necklace containing 92 pinks sapphires at 0.61cttw, 92 yellow sapphires at 0.81cttw, and 46 black diamonds at 0.42cttw ($4,250).

14kt rose gold rings set with 91 pink sapphires at 1.50cttw ($3,200) and 91 champagne diamonds at 1.36cttw ($3,600).

1" sterling silver and onyx pendant with 18" chaing and signature "Homage 4.26.1986" tag ($235) and 1.23" sterling silver and onyx pendant with 20" chain and signature "Homage 4.26.1986" tag ($245).

Upcoming Website Launch!

We are only a few weeks away from launching our amazing new website! With our customers in mind, the Alan Friedman site was designed for both function and fun. Our new "Gallery" section will pique your interest by highlighting some of our most unique and intriguing pieces. And as much as we love customer visits at the store, our new shopping cart option let's you browse our collections from home. Now you can shop for diamonds in bed and who wouldn't want to do that!? Additionally, our "Media" page will keep you informed on our latest hits from the press as well as which celebrities are rocking their favorite Alan Friedman designs.
Don't forget that any of Alan's pieces are entirely customizable. If you see something you'd like in the gallery without a purchase option or if that special ring would be perfect with one little change, please feel free to give us a call and we'll be happy to help you out!

Capturing the Essence

We are extremely excited to unveil our new website! As with all things artistic we struggled to create a unique, one off Alan Friedman concept for the site. We spent several months exchanging ideas and defining the ongoing Alan Friedman look. As always, in the end, we decided on a very clean look with a unique touch that is easy to navigate, elegant and edgy. We put a lot of pressure on Mani at Emsar Design  to dig deep and capture the essence of Alan Friedman and we are fortunate to have been involved with such a great company that has a similar passion for their work and can capture the mood, feel and look that we were wanting. The work that Mani and Emsar Design achieved was spot on with Alan Friedman and we couldn't be happier and more ecstatic!

We are looking forward to 2011 and many new ventures which will soon be front and center. As always Alan Friedman will be mixing and mingling with some of the biggest names and dropping many new out of this world concepts throughout the year. Stay tuned!
